What Happened:
Today we built the nose, cut out the fins and glued on the fins. We used super glue to glue on the fins, but the cone can just be placed on top. At first the cone was too light so we put quarters in the cone.
What's The Science:
There wasn't much science going on, but the quarters in the cone caused the cone to be heavier so it would make the rocket fly up instead of going all over the place. The fins also make the rocket fly in one place, and they also help the rocket launch.
Results:
Our rocket looks really nice. I think that just by following the guidelines and getting advice from your peers and teachers you can make something really nice. We all worked on different things and it all came together very nicely.
Collaboration:
I worked with Andrew, Brooklyn, and Matthew. They are all really nice people because, they listen to what you have to say and take in your idea's you want to share. They also keep on track aren't distracting. Andrew and Matthew were supposed to go to Fiesta Island today but one of the teacher aids were sick and couldn't go. Brooklyn cut out the fins, and I glued them on.
What Next:
Tomorrow, hopefully, Andrew or Matt, or both will build the engine, then go launch the rocket. Brooklyn and I will stay behind and update our blogs and work on our Bismuth crystals.
