What Happened:
In class, we re did our motor design because one of our members left our group and we aren't allowed to use the one we designed together. Our nose cone will be two and a half inches, our fins will be three inches, two of the launch lugs will be half an inch and the other one will be one and a half inches. The body of the rocket will be twelve inches. We started constructing the body and the nose cone today and we will finish up the fins tomorrow.
Results:
Our design is pretty nice. It's about the same size as an average rocket and has a semi pointed nose cone. Our fins will be about a quarter the size of the rocket. Our body is still drying but it looks pretty good.
Collaboration:
My group is Lupe, Madi, and I. Nick was in our group but he left because he had to help other groups who needed it. We work really well but we don't know much about rockets as a whole.
What Next:
Tomorrow, we will make and glue on the fins and we will start adding a design to our rocket.
